These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Monarch Select website and your Monarch Select membership. By signing up for a membership, you agree to these terms.

1. Description of services

Monarch Select (Pty) Ltd ("Monarch Select", "we", "us") operates a membership community for South African security, tactical, and close protection professionals. Membership is offered on a monthly recurring subscription across three tiers — Sentinel (R299/month), Vanguard (R599/month), and Sovereign (R899/month) — described in full on our Membership page. Depending on tier, membership includes access to our operator network and mentorship, in-person skills-transfer workshops, and shooting range access.

2. Delivery policy

Monarch Select membership is a service, not a physical product, so there is no courier or postal delivery involved in joining. On successful payment, your membership is activated immediately and you're issued a digital member card, accessible via a personal link sent to you and shown on your confirmation page. Your card can be viewed online at any time and includes an option to print it at standard wallet-card size for your own use — Monarch Select does not print or post physical cards on your behalf. In-person benefits (workshops, range access) are scheduled separately and communicated directly to active members.

3. Membership eligibility

Membership is intended for security officers, tactical officers, close protection officers, and other operators based in or connected to South Africa, including those currently posted or working outside the country. We reserve the right to decline or terminate a membership at our discretion, including for a breach of these terms.

4. Return & refunds policy

Monarch Select membership has no fixed-term contract — you may cancel at any time by contacting us at info@monarchselect.co.za. Once we process your cancellation, you will not be billed again. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for; cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for that period.

If Monarch Select is unable to provide a service you've paid for, we will refund you in full within 30 days of that becoming known. There is no administration fee for a member-initiated cancellation. If you believe you were charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after you had already cancelled — contact us at the email above and we will investigate and correct it.

5. Customer privacy policy

Monarch Select is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Full details of what we collect, why, and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, Mastercard, or Instant EFT, processed securely through our payment partner, PayFast (Pty) Ltd.

7. Card acquiring and security

All card transactions are processed by PayFast using industry-standard SSL encryption. Monarch Select never receives or stores your full card number, expiry date, or CVV — these are handled entirely by PayFast's secure, PCI-DSS-compliant payment infrastructure.

8. Customer details separate from card details

Your membership details (name, contact information, membership tier, and photo) are stored separately from any payment information, in our member database. Payment card details are held only by PayFast, never by Monarch Select.

9. Merchant outlet country and transaction currency

Monarch Select operates from South Africa. All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).

10. Responsibility

Monarch Select is responsible for the membership benefits described on our website, for reasonable customer service, and for making membership access available as described in these terms. We are not responsible for third-party services (such as employers or contractors) that members may be connected with through the network.

11. Country of domicile

This website and the agreement between you and Monarch Select are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Monarch Select's registered address is Unit 7, 124 Willem Botha Drive, Eldoraigne, Centurion, 0057.

12. Variation

Monarch Select may amend these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date; continued membership after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
